Set during the time of the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, two friends (Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett) are caught up in the events that draw the United States into World War II. One of them enlists with the U.S. Army Air Corps and the other flies for the British Royal Air Force, but they both find themselves in love with the same woman (Kate Beckinsale).

This was a decent movie. It has two pretty distinct parts. The first Act is the attack on Pearl Harbor. The second act is the aftermath as the U.S. gets into WW II, and these two friends get caught up in the war in various ways. There are some improbable coincidences designed to show as many of the important events of the war as possible, so our heros see a lot of the war than real people.

Still, I recommend this movie.
