Tough Criminals Down in Miami Dade

I think it was just last week that Miami-Dade police officers used a taser stun gun to subdue a very dangerous six year old boy. They claimed he was holding a shard of glass and threatening to hurt himself, so I went easy on that one.

Now, however, another officer has "tased" a 12 year old girl. Let’s see, her big crime…she was skipping school. According to the officer he did it to protect himself and the girl. Seems she ran, and was apparently headed into traffic.

Do they have Krispy Kreme’s in Miami yet? Maybe he just was either too slow or too lazy to give chase, so he used a potentially lethal weapon (yes, people have died from being tased) to stop a big time criminal truant. What are these people thinking?
