Kick The Bastards To The Curb

Props to this guy for trying to give Supreme Court Justice David H. Souter a taste of his own medicine. I doubt Logan Darrow Clements will win his case, but every single one of the Supreme Court Justices that voted yes for eminent domain should be dragged out of their homes and left homeless on the curb. It’s what the assholes deserve.

In the wake of the recent Supreme Court decision to extend the power of local governments to implement eminent domain, a movement has taken hold in New Hampshire to turn Justice David Souter’s house into a hotel. Although some view this movement as a prank, the provision to offer just compensation for land so that a higher-tax paying party can use it was made possible by Souter & Co. weeks ago in the case Kelo v. New London. Souter’s two-story colonial farmhouse has already been assessed at a value of $100,000. Bringing in just $2,895 in property taxes last year, a hotel would surely generate higher tax revenue. On Monday June 27, Logan Darrow Clements, requested to start the application process to build a hotel on 34 Cilley Hill Road. Clements, the CEO of Freestar Media, LLC, has made the case that this new hotel, which he plans to call “The Lost Liberty Hotel”, will generate more tax revenue. This is not a joke and support is growing for the construction of The Lost Liberty Hotel. Now we just have to push for the construction of an uber capitalist mall filled with large evil corporatations… that can go on Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s house.
