Fred Phelps Works for The Queers?

You read that right. In classic right wingnut form, since Fred, God Hates Fags, Phelps has gone off the reservation to picketing the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq, he must be destroyed. And how better to do that than to claim he is working FOR the homosexual agenda.

Peter LaBarbera, undercover homosexual lifestyle investigator and executive director of the Illinois Family Institute is now insinuating the following:

"Politically and culturally speaking, Phelps and his protesters serve as a crude caricature of pro-family traditionalists who oppose the normalization of homosexuality. Fred makes an easy target for the media and secularists who are tempted (partly by their own prejudices) to paint any opposition to "gay rights" as hateful. For this reason, I have sometimes wondered if Phelps and his lawyerly clan are ‘gay plants."

As I have so often asked, how crazy can these people get before their base wakes up? Apparently, a pretty long way. Let me see if I understand this…A guy who has, since nearly the beginning of the AIDS epidemic, been protesting and disrupting the funerals of those that have died. He even disrupted the funeral of a young man beaten to death by gay-bashers, but oh, he must be out there at the behest and sponsorship of gay people. Why else would be suddenly be protesting soldiers funerals.

Well Peter, maybe because he’s crazy, hate mongering fool, who espouses pretty much the same beliefs you do, he’s just more extreme in doing it. Don’t try to blame gay people for Fred Phelps you sick bastard, look in the mirror and know he’s a creation of your hateful and bigoted belief system. This is what you have begot, take responsibility for it.
