Cheeseburger in Paradise

I haven’t had a cheeseburger yet, but it is feeling like paradise today. I took Thursday and (most of) Friday off, and got most all my chores done around the house.

Last evening, while Lay was at work, our friends Mike and Jeff walked over with a gallon of Sangria. We ordered a pizza, and sat around playing cards and goofing off.

This morning, I went out on the deck and listened to my Saturday morning NPR lineup while writing a few things on the blog here. It was breezy but nice. What a great way to start the day. Now, I’m listening to some good ole Jimmy Buffet.
