A Heart Full of Grace

Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. –Martin Luther King Jr.
I think King’s idea is that is does not matter your station in life, there is always someone you can help, maybe even someone who needs your help. If everyone operated from a heart full grace and with a soul generated by love, as King challenges us, I think we would have to agree the world would be a much better place.
I think we become cynical, and begin to believe we can’t make a difference. I know first hand, you can, with just small efforts, favors, and some caring, make a significant difference in someone else’s life. I think if we, each one, took the time, to help one other person, we would see a dramatic change in the world. Maybe it’s a pipe-dream, but it couldn’t hurt to try…will you join me?
