The Hate is Just Dripping

Once again we see an example of God’s gentle loving people. What a shamed that this is supposed to be the face of Christianity, and people wonder why younger folks remain spiritual, but are leaving the church in droves. Well, here it is.See what hate hath wrought with Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, North Carolina.

“I figured a way to get rid of all the lesbians and queers, build a great, big, large fence — 150 or 100 mile long — put all the lesbians in there… Do the same thing for the queers and the homosexuals and have that fence electrified so they can’t get out… And you know what, in a few years, they’ll die.”
I guess some might see him as merciful, since his plan at least includes flying over planes to drop food. Of course he’s not the really the first to figure out this “solution.” Hitler beat him to the punch.

As it turns out, a recording has surfaced from one of his early sermons at this church from 1978 in which he says, “Forty years ago they would have hung [homosexuals], God bless ’em, from a white oak tree.” Gotta love God’s gentle loving people.
