More Travel Fun »

I have not been posting for the past week, but hope to get back to a more regular schedule.
Last week I’d traveled to Pittsburgh for meetings Tuesday and Wednesday. I was nervous about getting home from the time we landed after seeing the ground at the airport was already covered with snow. However, despite it [...]

Wrapping up Thanksgiving 2006 »

We had a pretty typical Thanksgiving. As I’ve already reported, I drove to North Carolina last Monday, and then met friends up in Boone/Blowing Rock on Tuesday. Wednesday I stuck close to home and spent the day with Mom, and had dinner with her and some of her friends. It was overcast and rainy most of the day Wednesday.

Evening With an Old Friend in Dallas »

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’m in Dallas this weekend and most of the coming week. The only good thing was I got to see an old friend. Tuesday Morning With Alberto »

This may most likely be the last update about Alberto. It rained some during the night, but not enough to even have to pump water from the pool. I did hear some gusty wind, but nothing major. The sun was out this morning when I got up.

Memorial Day Weekend 2006 »

It wound up being a far more active weekend that I had hoped for. I took Friday off and got most of my errands and household chores taken care of.
Friday night we went out to City Side for a while, and had a couple of drinks. The crowd was about average for a Friday night, [...]
