I’ve been trying to get a copy for some years now. Sean Chapin has finally put it in a video,  and now the secret is out. While Betty Bowers disclosed a version of the Gay Agenda a while back, I think this video version is a more accurate portrayal of what those nasty boys are up to.

Wikipedia defines the gay agenda thusly:

Homosexual agenda (or gay agenda, or gay conspiracy) is a term used by some socially conservative groups and people to describe the advocacy of cultural acceptance and normalization of non-heterosexual orientations and relationships. The term is regarded as pejorative by some LGBT organisations. The term is applied to efforts to change government policies and laws on LGBT issues (e.g., same-sex marriage, LGBT adoption, recognizing sexual orientation as a civil rights minority classification, LGBT military participation, inclusion of LGBT history and themes in public education) as well as non-governmental campaigns and individual actions which increase visibility and cultural acceptance of LGBT people, relationships, and identities.

And Conservapedia has a slightly different take:

The homosexual agenda, or homosexual ideology, consists of a set of beliefs and objectives designed to promote and even mandate acceptance and approval of homosexuality, and the strategies used to implement such. This article notes that the goals and means of this movement include indoctrinating students in public school, restricting the free speech of opposition, obtaining special treatment for homosexuals, distorting Biblical teaching and science, and interfering with freedom of association.

Among all the liberal belief systems, the homosexual ideology is the most self-centered or selfish. Liberals generally give much less than conservatives to charity, but gay charity work in particular is virtually non-existent.

I love it, the best the conservatives could some up with to criticize gay people about is that we don’t do charity work…what a crock.

The Conservative Bible – Because Jesus Was Just Too Liberal

Turns out the Bible is just too progressive in its views for some.  So the Conservative Bible Project has been formed to use Wiki technology to create a whole new, and more conservative, translation of the Bible.

The group cites a few reasons why the Bible is too progressive: “Lack of precision in the original language … lack of precision in modern language” and “translation bias in converting the original language to the modern one.” Because you know those darned liberal monks back in the days of King James just didn’t really understand the ancient biblical languages. Who knew.kjb8

According to an article on Salon.com:

Some of Conservapedia’s denizens, apparently including Schlafly, have been working on a new version of the Gospel of Mark. That has involved, at times, trying to come up with more modern terms for the Pharisees, a group of Jews who are often seen in the New Testament as Jesus’ antagonists. There’s been a bit of debate about what to call them — one contributor used “intellectuals,” for instance, while another said, “In an effort to capture the flavor for conservatives, I suggest changing Pharisees to ‘the Self-Proclaimed Elite’ or maybe just ‘the Elite.’ Given modern culture, I think this is more accessible and has a less benign/neutral connotation than ‘intellectuals.'”

Another contributor had a better term: “Liberals.” That’s led to verses like this one, for now Conservapedia’s version of Mark 3:6:

The Liberals then fled from the scene to plot with Herod’s people against Jesus, and plan how they might destroy him.

Sorry folks, but Jesus was basically a socialist, and was very liberal and progressive, but of course, whoever said Conservatives cared about the truth. You entitled to your own opinion, but not your own set of facts.
