I was doing a bit of research on the FL Board of Education to find out who they are. The first name I searched is Marva Johnson & that’s how I found your website. So far, I could not agree with your views more if I had written it myself. Absolutely love the Douche Bag of the Day award.
As a resident of FL since 1953 except for 5 years spent in Denver, I am concerned for my state. I have been ranting on FB about Rick Scott & Ron DeSantis & how destructive Scott has been & how bad DeSantis will be. He was my do nothing congressman in FL-06. He never represented his constituents unless they were Republican veterans. I have nothing against that group as I’m a military brat, but as my rep I felt DeSantis ignored everyone else. He renamed some post offices. Oh wait, he was a member of the Trump Toady patrol undermining the rule of law in the DOJ & FBI to protect Trump.
It will be interesting to watch DeSantis’ personal wealth. In 2015 net worth was $54K
I never paid attention to politics until Nov 9, 2016. I lost my long time job at the age of 64 when the company decided to fire all full time workers who were salaried with benefits & go with all part time workers.
I am a cancer patient in remission with side effects from treatment & surgery. Health Ins became even more of an important issue for me. I got a glowing letter of recommendation, but at my age with a disability I could not find a job in the small town where I live. Driving an hour to Orlando to work was not an option. So I found myself retired on a very limited income & began watching hearings on C-SPAN & got to know who the good & bad guys are. Members of congress really show who they are when they think no one is paying attention. It’s amazing.
You have done much research on the recipients of your Douche Bag awards. I applaud you!
