A Still Moment for Your Afternoon

This is Jo Ann Smith with a single-key diatonic autoharp, playing a rendition of Amazing Grace. Thanks to the folks at the Late Night Music Club over on Crooks and Liars for calling our attention to this quiet and lovely rendition of that favorite of hymns. To quote Bluegal, “As if ‘Amazing Grace’ were not a lovely enough song, Jo Ann Smith takes a simple backdrop and a lot of talent and makes the song soar higher still.”
