Remind Me Again….

The following comment was posted on the DailyKos blog in response to an article about the Terri Schaivo case. I found it to be an excellent summary of circus-like attitude that has developed around this whole situation, and a reminder that as a country, we need to spend our time on national issues, rather than having the government distract us from their own abuses of power and moral failing (read Tom Delay).

“Remind me again why we aren’t allowed to see flag-draped coffins returning from Iraq?? Something about the “privacy of the families”, wasn’t it?? But when the agenda is “pro-life” instead of “anti-war”, the Chimp administration trots out every clown, juggler and bearded lady in Washington…..”

I would only add…”and Tallahassee.”
