Marco Rubio – Handing Out Matches To Arsonists
Early last week Little Marco Rubio got another Douche Bag of the Day Award. He won it for a tone-deaf email sent out about the extremism of Democrats on the day the bombs made by a Trump supporter were being delivered to their targets. Today’s award is for a tweet where he tries to defend and cover for his Dear Leader’s violent rhetoric.
Why is it so hard to accept that a clearly deranged man carried out deranged acts? The “false flag” conspiracy theories on one side & the “it’s Trump’s fault” on the other shows how unhinged politics has become. This isn’t incivility. Yes, Marco, the bomber and the shooter are clearly people who are operating outside the bounds of normalcy but try as you might to make excuses for your Dear Leader, words, especially those of a President, have consequences. Donald Trump’s nationalistic and violence-encouraging rhetoric at his ego rallies is the equivalent of passing out matchbooks at an arsonists convention. There’s no excuse for it, and your lame attempt to cover for him is disgusting.
So here you go Marco, a record-setting TWO Douche Bags of the Day Awards in 4 days. You go girl.
