Rubio-Scott – Douchebag Award Winners
Rick Scott and Marco Rubio (R(acists)-Florida) have both won individual awards, but will give them a joint award this week thanks to their complicity with Donald Trump’s latest example of naked racism in calling for U.S. Citizen Legislators to “go back where you came from.” I would classify Scott and Rubio as nothing short of medical miracles as they seem able to walk upright without spines.
By now, most Americans have seen the tweet(s) attacking four female freshman Congress members of color:
….and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how….

….it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!

Everyone with half a brain knows that “go back from where you came from” is a phrase with a long history as a racist dog-whistle. But the spineless Medical Miracle twins there can’t bring themselves to call it out for what it is, and Rubio especially should be up in arms about it…of course, he wasn’t called out (yet).
According to a report in the Tampa Bay Times, Rubio, when asked about it said, “The president shouldn’t have written that…I don’t read into people’s intentions,…I can’t tell you what his intent was.” Rubio kept referring to it as, “identity politics.” He couldn’t even bring himself to call the tweet racist.
As usual, Scott tried to deflect the conversation entirely by making claims about criticism for ICE and Border Patrol…which had nothing to do with the President’s tweets nor the question he was asked. He went on to say, “It was clearly not the way I would do it but let’s remember the position that these Democrats have taken. They’ve become the anti-Semitic party now and so that’s wrong.” Again, what did that have to do with Trump’s tweets or the question Scott was asked. He did manage to say he disagreed with the tweet, but went on to say, “it wasn’t racist.”
So, little Marco and Rick (I’ll take the 5th 75 times) Scott, for being two of the biggest toadies of Donald Trump and supporting racism, you get our Doucebag Award. Congratulations.
