Yes I Can-No I Can't

Not surprisingly, after spending a couple of years strongly denying that Karl Rove was involved in the Valerie Plame leak, and Bush promising to fire anyone that was involved…all of a sudden no one in the administration can discuss the matter because there is an on-going investigation.

Could last year…can’t this year. Think Progress has the transcript.

And the most absurd dodge of all has Rove claiming innocence because he never disclosed her "name." Never mind that he disclosed her identity. As Senator Joe Biden put it, its a difference without a distinction, but in crazy world of the law, it probably gives Rove a free pass on technical merits.

Unfortunately, the only problem for Bush here is how to reward Rove, or which award to give him.
