Jesus would not happy with the state of his church today. Given appropriation for political gain, the hatred spewing from some of the so-called religious leaders, the sex scandals, the disregard of so many Christians for the plight of those in need, it is hard to believe this is what the Holy Spirit had in mind when it blew into the house of the Disciples.

Do You Know a Miracle When You See One?

I think we miss the boat when it comes to miracles. I heard a story on NPR about how Monarch Butterflies navigate. Monarch’s travel nearly one thousands miles from Canada to Mexico. Researches found part of the Monarch’s eyes and brain are wired to see ultraviolet light, so they can travel even on cloudy days without queues from the position of the sun. You see, I think that is a miracle.
