We now have “take your gun to work” here in Florida…not just on a specific day, but everyday, and we’ve got airline pilots shooting through the cockpit with their TSA issued handguns due to another idiotic TSA procedure.
Read moreReuters has a report from The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and Economic Policy Institute showing that, “Since the late 1990’s average incomes have declined 2.5 percent for families on the bottom fifth of the country’s economic ladder, while incomes have increased 9.1 percent for families on the top fifth.” That got brought home to me tonight when I went to grab a bite to eat, and saw a couple have to forego eating so the kids could. This is the krazy kristian kooks attempt to have a large conservative turnout in Florida, so instead of fielding a worthy candidate, they go for the devisive issue. Amendment #2 is, of course, a “marriage protection” amendment for the Florida Constitution.

Of course, just wait until you have to figure out what time you have a conference call. We have people in Central time, and that gets confusing sometimes. I’m scared to think what it will be like to have a different time than the rest of the east coast.

This is critically important, because it’s the last best hope to have the illegal surveillance activities of the current Cheney Administration see the light of day. During a press conference on February 28, George Bush finally went rogue on Dick, and accidentally told the truth about the reason for telecom immunity.

Additionally, last year’s audit found that the FBI had underreported to Congress how many national security letters were requested by more than 4,600.

Senator David Vitter (R. Louisiana) was implicated in a prostitution case, but never resigned…why the double standard? Saying he’s involved in a prostitution ring is like me saying I’m involved in the fast food franchise business just because I ate at McDonald’s one day last week.

Read moreWe have already held the primary here in Florida, but of course our vote didn’t count (more on that in a minute). At the time John Edwards was still in the race, and I voted for him. I believe he was the most sincere candidate running, and he seemed to have the most radical ideas for change, and some radical change is needed. Of course you know he’s out now, and it’s down to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. So who will I be voting for in the general question? Well frankly, I’m still debating who I hope gets there for the Democrats.
