We’re going to engrave one for retiring Republican Senator Jeff flake casting one of, if not the most important vote of his time in the Senate. Apparently, he was OK voting to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States while still harboring doubts.

Congratulations to Marco as a multiple award winner. This time for a tone-deaf email that went out today, of all days, claiming it’s Democrats who are lacking civility and attacking the fine folks of the Republican persuasion. It’s the classic Republican ploy…if they’re accusing someone else of doing it, you can bet they are the ones doing it.

None of us is a smart as all of us. – Phil Condit This is pretty obviously a riff on the concept of synergy, “the interaction or cooperation of two or more organizations, substances, or other agents to produce a combined effect greater than the sum of their separate effects.” But coming from a guy with Phil Condit’s background, it takes on some real meaning.

The Florida Constitutional Amendments – My Take
What a mess the ballot is this year with some of the most ridiculous and some of the most dangerous amendments. In the end, I voted Yes on Number 4, and No on all the rest. Many of you may disagree, but at least consider my logic.

McConnell And Ryan – Douche Bags of the Day
They aren’t worth the ink to give them separate awards, and besides, they’re receiving the award since they are both involved in the same scam of the American Taxpayer…well, one of their many and most recent. After passing a $1,500,000,000,000.00 ($1.5 Trillion) dollar tax cut that went to the wealthiest Americans and big corporations, they now claim that Social Security and Medicare need to be cut to cover that deficit.

Let’s just get it over with, and give Scott his award. He’s working hard to earn it. We can start with the economic devastation for the hospitality and tourism industry brought on by the Red-Tide outbreaks and fish kills. He now has nine ads out, everyone one of which has been judged “false” by PolitiFact.
